- CAUTION HERBICIDE APPLICATION. The Presidio has minimized herbicide use by using Integrated Pest Management. To protect the safety of people, pets, and the environment, when herbicides are used, we choose low-risk materials that will effectively control the weeds at this site. Date and approximate time of application. Stay out of treatment area during this time: 9/11/26, 8 AM - 5 PM. Area to be treated: Acacia & cotoneaster in area south of Quarry Rd & north of the Ecology Trail Connector. Herbicide name: Garlon 4 Ultra; Milestone. Active ingredient: Triclopyr; Aminopyralid.
